Many of Zagreb's galleries are mentioned in the section on museums or within the green squares that they occupy, but a few more should be added.
On the Victims of Fascism Square, this gallery is for contemporary Croatian culture. It was converted into a mosque in the 1940s as the Nazi puppet state of Croatia attempted to draw the Bosnian Muslims into an alliance.
At Katherine Square 5, this well-lit, simple gallery features rotating international exhibitions of modern art. It also offers beautiful views of the Cathedral and the city.
Maintained by the Association of Naïve Artists, this gallery, named after one of the important proponents of the style, shows some brightly colored paintings. (Tkalčićeva Street 14).
